The K3V122DT axial piston pump is a high-performance swash plate type axial variable displacement piston pump, which is a customized enhanced version of Kawasaki K3V112DT series. It adopts a tandem double pump structure, integrates a pilot gear pump, and is specially designed for 20–25 ton hydraulic excavators. With stable high-pressure performance, high efficiency and strong reliability, it is widely used in medium-sized construction machinery such as excavators, loaders and crawler drills, providing stable and efficient power support for hydraulic systems in harsh working conditions such as construction sites and mines. It is compatible with mainstream construction machinery brands such as Sany, Komatsu, Hyundai and Doosan, and is a benchmark main pump in the 20–25 ton class.

The pump's flow is adjusted by changing the angle of an internal swash plate. As the swash plate angle changes, the stroke length of the pistons varies, which in turn changes the volume of fluid displaced per rotation, allowing the flow rate to adapt to the system's needs.
