PSVL2-36CG charge pump is a high-performance fixed external gear pump tailored for NACHI PSVL2-36CG axial piston main pump.

Integrated with the main pump, the charge pump needs no separate installation. When replacing, align the spline shaft correctly, torque the screws properly, keep the mating surface clean, and use the right seal ring for reliable sealing.
2.What preparations are needed before starting the Charge Pump for the first time?
System Check: Verify all hydraulic lines and connections are tight and leak-free.
Oil Level & Quality: Ensure the hydraulic tank is filled to the correct level with the specified anti-wear hydraulic oil (ISO VG 46/68) of the required cleanliness.
Rotation Direction Confirmation: Confirm the pump’s rotation direction matches the main pump and engine specifications.
Bleeding Air: Loosen high-point bleed screws or open vent valves to purge air from the system, preventing cavitation.

3.What are the requirements for hydraulic oil when using the PSVL2-36CG Charge Pump?

Cleanliness Standard: ISO 4406 class 18/15 or higher, to protect precision gears and bearings from wear.

4. Can the rotation direction of the Charge Pump be reversed? What are the consequences of reverse rotation?
It cannot run in reverse rotation. Reverse operation will cause insufficient oil supply and pressure loss, trigger severe cavitation, wear internal gears and bearings sharply. It also damages sealing parts, leads to system malfunction and shortens pump service life greatly.
5. Is the Charge Pump a dedicated accessory? Can it work normally without it?
It is a dedicated exclusive accessory matching the main pump. The equipment cannot run normally without it. It supplies pilot pressure, lubrication and oil replenishment, lacking it will cause pump damage and system failure.
