Product Description
The Parker PGP350 (formerly Commercial Intertec) is a heavy-duty, fixed-displacement bushing-style gear pump designed for high-pressure, high-performance applications in the most demanding environments. Featuring a rugged three-piece cast iron construction, the PGP350 is specifically engineered for mobile and truck-mounted equipment—such as dump trucks and refuse vehicles—where structural integrity and long-term durability are critical. Its robust design allows it to maintain peak performance under extreme duty cycles, making it the industry standard for PTO-driven systems.
Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Construction:
The PGP350 is built with high-tensile, three-piece cast iron housings. Unlike aluminum alternatives, this rigid construction eliminates "body stretching" and maintains tight internal clearances under high pressure, significantly extending the pump's service life in grueling work conditions.
High-Pressure Capability:
Engineered to handle continuous operating pressures of up to 3,500 PSI (241 bar), the PGP350 provides the necessary force to drive heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders and motors. Its high-alloy steel gears and shafts are induction-hardened to resist wear and fatigue.
Advanced Pressure-Balanced Bushings:
Utilizing high-performance, pressure-balanced bushings, the PGP350 ensures superior volumetric efficiency by minimizing internal fluid bypass. The bushing design also provides an excellent bearing surface for the gears, offering enhanced resistance to thermal shock and fluid contamination.
Exceptional Contamination Resistance:
The robust internal design and heavy-duty seals of the PGP350 series make it highly tolerant of the harsh fluid environments common in construction and waste management. It is built to withstand the debris and variable fluid quality often found in open-loop hydraulic systems.
Unmatched Mounting & Porting Versatility:
The PGP350 offers extensive configuration flexibility with SAE "B" and "C" mounting flanges, multiple shaft options (including 13-tooth and 14-tooth splines), and various porting styles (NPT, SAE O-ring, or Split Flange). This versatility ensures seamless integration into any professional-grade PTO or engine-drive application.

Applications
Commercial Refuse & Recycling: Widely used in large-scale garbage compactors and waste collection trucks that require high-cycle, high-pressure stability for continuous loading and unloading.
Dump Trucks & Trailers: A primary choice for heavy-duty tipper systems and articulated dumpers, providing reliable power to large multi-stage cylinders under high-load conditions.
Construction & Heavy Equipment: Optimized for truck-mounted cranes, pavers, and earthmoving attachments, where the cast iron construction ensures resistance to variable load shocks and fluid contamination.
Specialized Utility Vehicles: Frequently employed in utility bucket trucks, vacuum trucks, and drill rigs that demand consistent hydraulic power from PTO units in harsh outdoor environments.
Material Handling & Log Loaders: Ideal for heavy-duty forklift attachments and forestry equipment, offering a space-efficient yet powerful source that maintains high efficiency under constant thermal and mechanical stress.
PGP350 pumps are typically packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. The packaging includes:
Protective Wrapping: To safeguard the pump from environmental damage.
Custom Crates: For larger, heavier pumps, ensuring safe handling.
Documentation: Includes installation, maintenance instructions, and warranty details.
Delivery time depends on the model, customizations, and location but typically ranges from 2 to 6 weeks from the order date.
Rugged Cast Iron Housing: Unlike aluminum pumps that can suffer from "body stretching" at high pressures, the PGP350's cast iron frame ensures tight internal clearances and a significantly longer service life under high-pressure duty cycles.
Bushing-Style Performance: It utilizes advanced, pressure-balanced bushings that provide a superior bearing surface for the gears, offering greater resistance to thermal shock and fluid contamination than typical aluminum-body pumps.
High Pressure Resistance: While aluminum pumps often peak at 3,000 PSI, the PGP350 comfortably handles continuous pressures up to 3,500 PSI (241 bar).
Continuous Pressure: Up to 3,500 PSI (241 bar).
Intermittent/Peak Pressure: Up to 4,000 PSI (275 bar).
This robust pressure rating makes the PGP350 ideal for driving high-force lifting, compaction, and excavation systems on heavy-duty utility vehicles.
Commercial Intertec: P350 Series (Direct Heritage).
Permco: P5100 Series.
Metaris: MH350 Series.
To ensure a successful swap, verify the Mounting Flange (SAE B or C), Shaft Type (13 or 14-tooth spline), and Gear Width (Displacement) to match your existing system.
Oil Type: Premium mineral-based hydraulic fluids with strong Anti-Wear (AW) additive packages.
Viscosity: Standard ISO VG32 to VG68. The optimal operating range is 100 to 150 SUS (20 to 30 cSt), though it can handle cold starts up to 7,500 SUS (1600 cSt).
Filtration: Cleanliness is vital for bushing lubrication. A minimum filtration of ISO 4406 19/17/14 is recommended to prevent abrasive particles from damaging the internal bushing faces.
The PGP350 series is optimized for engine and PTO speeds, typically operating between 600 RPM and 2,400 RPM.

PGP350 pumps are manufactured in compliance with international standards, ensuring high performance and reliability:
ISO 9001: Certified for quality management systems.
CE Certification: Ensures compliance with European safety, health, and environmental protection standards.
RoHS Compliance: Ensures the pump does not contain hazardous materials.
Factory Testing: Every pump is rigorously tested for performance, pressure, and leak integrity before shipping.
The pump's flow is adjusted by changing the angle of an internal swash plate. As the swash plate angle changes, the stroke length of the pistons varies, which in turn changes the volume of fluid displaced per rotation, allowing the flow rate to adapt to the system's needs.
