1. What are the main features of the QT Series?
They feature a specialized internal gear design that delivers extremely low noise levels, high energy efficiency, and exceptionally low pressure ripple .

2. What fluids are compatible with this pump?


These pumps are compatible with standard anti-wear hydraulic oils and can even handle lower lubricity fluids (such as water-glycol) while maintaining low abrasion rates. 

3. Why is my QT gear pump failing to build pressure?


Insufficient pressure can be caused by leaking seals, a blocked suction line or oil filter, excessive oil viscosity, or incorrect drive motor speed. Internal wear from prolonged use or particulate contamination may also prevent the pump from developing sufficient pressure. 

4. How can I troubleshoot pump noise and vibration?


Noise is often a symptom of air getting trapped in the hydraulic fluid (cavitation). Check the suction line for sealing failures, ensure your fluid reservoir is sufficiently full, and replace blocked oil filters to resolve this. 

5. Can I adjust the flow rate of the QT pump?


Because QT pumps are typically fixed-displacement pumps, the most effective and safe way to adjust flow is by altering the drive motor's speed (RPM) using a servo drive or inverter, rather than throttling the outlet.
