Product Description
MPC 70.4 is a sectional open‑center hydraulic directional control valve, widely used as original replacement for Russian‑style MTZ series tractors and various mobile hydraulic machines. Designed for fixed‑displacement pump systems with rated flow 70 L/min and maximum working pressure up to 250 bar, this manual multi‑section distributor controls hydraulic cylinder and motor movements, while integrating overload protection for the whole hydraulic circuit.
Modular sectional structure allows flexible combination from 1‑section up to 10‑section. Each spool section is equipped with built‑in load check valve and main relief valve to prevent load‑dropping and system overpressure. Mainly mechanical manual lever operation, optional detent positions, spring return and pneumatic control kits are available for different working requirements. Robust cast iron body adapts to harsh field working conditions, stable performance under wide temperature range, ideal for agricultural and construction mobile equipment aftermarket replacement and OEM assembly.
Modular sectional design, easy to add or reduce valve sections according to customer demands
Built‑in relief valve and load check valve for anti‑falling load and system overload protection
Parallel circuit design, support simultaneous multi‑action operation
Multiple spool configurations, support spring return, A‑position detent, B‑position detent, A+B detent
Heavy‑duty cast iron housing, excellent shock‑resistance for outdoor harsh working environment
Compatible with original HYDROSILA MPC70.4 units, direct replacement for aftermarket repair
Support optional pneumatic control kits for remote operation
Stable low‑pressure response, low pressure loss during operation

1. What is the MPC 70.4 Control Valve ?
MPC 70.4 is a sectional open‑center hydraulic directional distributor originally designed by HYDROSILA, widely used for Eastern European mobile machinery, especially MTZ‑series tractors. It is a manual multi‑section valve with nominal flow 70 L/min and max working pressure up to 250 bar. The modular structure supports 1‑10 working sections, each fitted with built‑in load check valve, together with main relief valve for system overload protection. It mainly adopts mechanical lever operation, and optional pneumatic remote control is available. This valve controls hydraulic cylinders and motors, and serves as direct OEM‑replacement unit for agricultural tractors, harvesters, small loaders and other mobile hydraulic equipment
2. What makes the MPC 70.4 Control Valve ?
3. What is the working pressure range of MPC 70.4 Control Valve ?
The rated operating pressure is 200 bar (2900 PSI).
Maximum working pressure for A and B working ports reaches 250 bar (3625 PSI).
4. Can MPC 70.4 Control Valve replace other brands?
MPC 70.4 is a HYDROSILA‑standard sectional distributor. It is a direct drop‑in replacement for original HYDROSILA MPC 70.4 units with identical porting, mounting dimensions and spool specifications.
It cannot directly substitute general‑purpose European sectional valves such as Walvoil or Galtech without modification, due to different port layout, mounting hole positions and spool geometry. For Eastern‑European MTZ‑series tractors and matching mobile machinery, MPC 70.4 is the preferred aftermarket replacement instead of other brand valves. Custom‑modified spools and port adaptors are required if you plan to use other brand valves for this equipment.
5. What is the typical speed range of MPC 70.4 Control Valve ?
The MPC 70.4 is a hydraulic distributor and does not rotate itself. Its operating speed refers to the drive speed of the matched fixed‑displacement hydraulic pump. Recommended pump speed range is 600 rpm ~ 2200 rpm, which matches the typical engine speed of MTZ‑series tractors. Optimal working performance is achieved at 1200‑1800 rpm. Continuous operation above 2400 rpm is not recommended, as it may cause excessive flow, high noise and accelerated component wear.
6. Do you provide OEM or customized services?
Yes, we support OEM and customized services for MPC 70.4 control valve. We can configure different section numbers, spool types (spring‑return, detent, float position), relief valve pressure settings, and optional pneumatic remote control kits according to your requirements. OEM branding, logo marking and special surface treatment are also available. The Green hydraulic pump manufacturing facility is a specialized industrial plant that focuses on producing hydraulic pumps and related components. These factories are equipped with advanced machinery and technology to fabricate high-quality pumps designed for a wide range of applications, from heavy equipment and machinery to automotive and industrial systems.
The production process typically involves precision engineering, where raw materials like metals and alloys are processed into pump components such as gears, pistons, cylinders, and seals. These parts are then assembled into fully functional hydraulic pumps, which are tested for performance and quality control to ensure reliability, efficiency, and durability under various working conditions.
